Updated on

Concerns: First assessor/supervisor thesis of the Faculty of Social Sciences

Thesis repository, and if applicable oneliner and Grade approval.

After the second reviewer has submitted the assessment, we would like to receive your permission to include the thesis in the Radboud thesis repository. Do you object to this, or would you like to set an embargo date after which the thesis may be published? Then please indicate so. If applicable, you will receive an invitation by email to complete the 'oneliner', your celebratory message to the student that will be read during the graduation ceremony. Finally, if applicable, you will receive a notification for the Determination of the final grade of the thesis, also called Grade approval.

Log in to OSIRIS Lecturer & Supervisor at https://osiris.ru.nl/docent or using the link in the e-mail.

On the home page, please click on the name of the 'Case' (Please note, the name of the Case in the image may be different)

Now click the Oneliner and permission thesis repository block for the appropriate student.

In the subsequent window, under 'Documents and forms', click on Oneliner and permission.

A pop-up window called 'Oneliner and permission' appears. Enter the required (oneliner) data here (with optional additional explanations) and indicate whether there is an embargo Yes or No and then click Save.

Once you have done this you will return to the Task screen and finally click 'Confirm'.

Now your confirmation date x and time y is being shown

Also, in the 'Overview' on the left side of the Case menu under the 'Activities' heading, you can see the confirmation of the Oneliner and permission thesis repository.

If applicable, determine final mark for the thesis

Note. If applicable, you will receive a notification that the weighted (proposed) final grade can be determined. During this determination (Grade approval) the grade of your previously given assessment appears in the relevant Case, followed by the grade of the second assessor and the weighted final grade. You should determine this final grade and you could communicatie it during the final interview with the student (Notice: this is a proposed final grade; the examiner formally determines the final grade afterwards, in accordance with the EER).
